Rocket Team
The mission of the Ohio State University’s Rocket Team (formed in 2006) is to design, build, and fly a seven-foot sounding rocket capable of reaching an altitude of 5000 feet. Besides aerospace engineering, numerous aspects of the rocket use the expertise of other types of engineers such as Chemical Engineers for propulsion, CIS and EE for avionics.
